The person behind the notebook
Hi, I’m Marc-Olivier.
I’m a technical data leader.
Coffee and Data is where I share what I learn about data, engineering, and the people doing the work.
My background spans data science and data engineering. I care about building useful data assets, helping teams do better work, and solving real problems.
At the end of the day, what we build is about people. Technology is how we get there.
You can find my projects on GitHub or connect with me on LinkedIn.
A note on the quiet years
You might notice some quiet years in the archive. It’s not that I ran out of things to say. Work keeps me busy, and so do my kids. I coach their teams, so a lot of my evenings and weekends go to practices and games, not to a keyboard. I write when I have something worth sharing and the time to do it properly, not on a schedule.
So posts come in waves. If you’d rather not keep checking back, subscribe and I’ll let you know when a new one is out.
